Graveyard Keeper 2 Platforms

One sequel, many storefronts, and a platform-specific Inquisitor outfit.

Platforms Compared

Graveyard Keeper 2 is scheduled for September 22, 2026 on several boxes at once. The gameplay pillars do not change when you switch stores. The account, cloud, bonus outfit, and hardware do. This page is the comparison so you pre-order once. Pair it with system requirements and pre-order.

Press releases from April listed Steam, Epic, GOG, PS5, Xbox Series, Switch, Switch 2 together. If a store is missing in your country, that is a regional storefront issue, not a different game.

PC: Steam vs Epic vs GOG

Steam is the documentation source this wiki trusts (requirements, language list, feature flags). It is also where Lazy Bear posts devlogs. If you want the news feed and the cloud save in one client, Steam is the boring correct answer.

Epic and GOG are in the launch set. GOG buyers often want fewer launchers; confirm at purchase whether the Windows build matches Steam’s DirectX 12 requirement — it should, it is the same developer package, but always read that store’s spec box.

Do not buy two PC copies “for mods.” There is no official mod promise, and the preview still calls this a single-player premium SKU.

PlayStation 5

PS5 is a day-one platform. DualShock/DualSense support is even mentioned on the Steam page (USB), which tells you Lazy Bear thought about Sony pads on PC too. If PS5 is your only box, pre-order on PlayStation Store so the outfit lands on that account. Trailer used on rebuild the Town is a PlayStation upload of the date spot.

Xbox

Xbox Series X|S is in every serious platform list. Xbox One appears in Lazy Bear’s April 2026 platform tweet and in September Japanese press citing tinyBuild. Do not assume backward buy. Open the Microsoft Store SKU and read the supported devices line. If you are on a Series console, you are in the intended set.

Switch and Switch 2

Both are listed. The Switch 2 eShop page we captured had a 780 MB estimate, one-player local, and the usual content descriptors. Handheld clock rates are the unknown, not the date. If you bounce between docked and handheld, wait for a post-launch clip of the Town Workshop before you swear the pips are readable.

The outfit problem

Official pre-order copy: the Grand Inquisitor outfit depends on platform. That single sentence is why this comparison exists. A cheaper Epic key does not help if your sofa is a PS5. Pick the hardware you will sit on for the Getting Started week, then pay there. The Sauna is a building and should be in the game regardless of costume color — still attach it to one account, not four.

Cloud saves and “I’ll play on everything”

Steam Cloud is listed. Console clouds are their own subscriptions (Nintendo Switch Online, Xbox, PS Plus depending on region). There is no announced cross-save between Steam and PS5. If you need that sentence in writing: plan one graveyard.

A short decision tree

  • PC with a GTX 660-class GPU or better → Steam unless you have a GOG religion
  • PC below minimum → do not “try it,” read system requirements and buy a console instead
  • TV couch, already in PS Plus / Game Pass ecosystems → buy the console you already pay cloud for
  • Travel → Switch 2 if you accept unknown handheld performance, Steam Deck only after a badge exists

Is Graveyard Keeper 2 on Game Pass at launch?

No such promise was in the materials we used. Check Xbox's own tile on September 22.

No cross-save has been announced. Treat each storefront as its own graveyard.

Which version gets the “best” outfit?

Unknown until launch screenshots. Official text only says the outfit varies by platform.
